Tuesday was Amelia's 6 month checkup (with shots, poor thing!) and she's doing great! She's in the 50th percentile for height (average) and 80th percentile for weight (chubby, but better than 90th % at her 4 mo checkup!). The Dr. was particularly impressed with her sitting up skills! Also, what we thought was a tooth coming in is actually not, so she's still just showing a toothless, gummy smile.
Amelia's favorite things are:
- trying to grab one of the dogs when they walk by (see photo...she got Jack!)
- playing in her exersaucer
- her Baby Einstein video
- watching football with Daddy
- blowing "rasperries" with her tongue (see photo)
- sitting in her high chair and watching us make dinner
- eating! bananas, yogurt & applesauce are her favorites
- stroller rides - we took the infant seat adapter off and she sits in like a big girl!
- grocery shopping - sitting in the shopping cart like a big girl!
My how fast they grow...and it gets better every week!
Eating! Yeah Amelia - go for the 100th percentile on weight.
