Almost all of my photos are of her back...she RAN from me the whole time!There is a brand new Barnes & Noble bookstore just down the street from our house and they have storytime every Thursday! I love this much more than going to the public library: 1) It's a brand new facility. 2) Books are not as dirty - at least the ones being touched have the potential of being purchased and never coming back! 3) There's a Starbucks on premises!
The normal storytime includes a craft afterwards but yesterday we had cupcakes! The story they read was "If You Give a Cat a Cupcake" which was very cute and some of the older girls knew it already.
My only problem with storytime at a big store is that Amelia keeps running off without me! She won't sit still (which I didn't exactly expect), but she goes crazy in a wide open space! She runs up to shelves and grabs as much as she can, only to then throw it on the floor, then she laughs and runs in the other direction. PHEW! She loves it, so we'll keep going back.
