Tea Party at Storytime

She's holding up the "Amelia Bedelia" book series. We have a few of those books already...thanks Carol!

The girls were cracking up at each other when they'd touch fingers. Who knew that could be so entertaining?

Eating sugar cookies (and fueling up for the running away...)

Amelia grabbed lots of stuffed animals off of shelves. Sorry if we made a mess, B&N employees!

Today's storytime at Barnes & Noble was a Tea Party theme. Amelia dressed up in her little party dress from her birthday party (when else would she wear it?!) and we met up with her new friend Evie & her mom Mary Pat (who we met at our first storytime). The girls play well together and we plan to see them more often - they were born just 2 days apart and Evie will most likely be in Amelia's class at First Baptist in the near future.

My only issue with going to storytime is that Amelia can't stay put! In the blink of an eye, she's either running across the room to the model train table or heading towards the escalator. A lot of the older kids are much better about staying with the group, so I'm hoping she'll grow out of this runaway stage!
