Today was Amelia's 3 year old checkup. I assumed she'd have vaccinations (or at least a flu shot) so I prepared her ahead of time, letting her know that shots help keep you healthy and if she was brave I'd take her for ice cream. Turns out her next round of vaccines isn't until she's 4 years old AND her flu shot was actually a mist she inhaled through her nose. I was a good mommy and kept my word about going for ice cream afterwards!
Also, I learned that she's only in the 30% percentile for weight & height! I never thought she was that small, assuming that since she's younger than most of her classmates it was normal to be a little shorter. For now we'll call her petite and see if any growth spurts are about to happen...
