HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO JULIET!
Juliet turned 3 and is STILL as sweet as can be. She loves all things girly - baby dollies, hair bows and dresses. Oh my goodness, the girl MUST wear a dress every day (at night it's a nightgown!). She's been asking to start ballet lessons and now that she's 3 (and I don't have to do a mommy and me class), she can start! She is SO SO SO excited about this! I had Amelia in ballet & tap for 3 years and she just went along with it because her friends were there. At 5 years old she realized she could have a choice in which activities she did and made me pinky promise she'd never have to take ballet again! Maybe Juliet will be my ballerina - she's already got her dance clothes picked out for her class which is in a week from now!
Juliet only has a few favorite friends her age and most couldn't make it to her birthday party. Instead, she wanted all of Amelia's best friends to come. Usually when the bigger girls come over, Amelia gets mad because they play baby with Juliet instead, carrying her around and tending to her every need!
She loves to sing! The words are always wrong but she has the sweetest little voice.
Now that she has a scooter she can keep up with the bigger kids in the cul-de-sac. She's pretty good too (even she's riding in dresses)!
This is one of our favorite little lakes to eat lunch outside and watch ducks.
We visited Dewberry Farms with a preschool aged group and had the place almost all to ourselves. The last time I was there was before I was even pregnant with Juliet!
She agreed on jeans because we were going to a farm! Adding a hat gave her a little more pizzazz to the outfit.
Grandma Sue came for a visit from Colorado! It was so great to have her there for our celebration. The girls always look forward to her coming because she's the craft lady! There's always some sort of project to work on, like knitting or painting.
Blowing out candles at her backyard party. It was a pretty fun night for everyone. A bouncy house & pizza for the kids and fajitas & margaritas for the grown-ups.
She was so ready for bed by the time I got a photo with her!
These are 2 of our favorite friends - Delilah and Stella. They live super close by and we see them often. Delilah is in Amelia's class and Stella is Juliet's absolute very very favorite big girl! She's got some face paint from another party she went to that day.
